Not able to update template gray

Not able to update template gray

When trying to update Template Gray from 2.3.4 to 2.5.0, I get the error:
"0 Non-static method InstallHelper::createMenuType() cannot be called statically "

I have also deleted the old template and associated modules as required. The update to 2.4.0 works fine.
Where could the error be?

I'm sorry, the update to 2.4 finished fine, but there is a total chaos in the front end. On the product list page, all saved images are also displayed at the same time. Also it's not able to put products in the shopping basket, failure notice "Error quantity"..
And what are the new modules called, e.g. B. the slider bar at the top.

One question about the slider module in the 2.5. version of template gray: Will be an automatic image changer in a next version?
