Configurable Product - Products from Category

We successfully use the "Configurable Products" add-on. I have a question / request about this:

Configurable Products can be added manually for each product. This works perfectly.

We offer various additional services for our products. These are regularly expanded and updated.

Is it possible to select entire categories as Configurable Products? When a new product is added to the category, it should automatically appear as a Configurable Product wherever the category is selected as a Configurable Product.

For example:

Main product: Software XXX
Configurable products for software:
Training A
Training B
Training C

All training courses are in the category "Software Training". As soon as a new training course is available, it should be selectable as a Configurable Product for the main product. If the training course is deactivated, it should no longer be visible. The products from a category should therefore be automatically displayed as a configurable product. In this way, all training courses do not have to be entered manually for each product.
