Attribute Images size in webshop.

When you press on a product images it will open and become large images
But when you press on a attribute images nothing happens, it difficult for the customer to see the attribute and what they are buying.
What to do?

I can see the atribute images is 3 out of 3. Are there possibility for more than one images pr. attribute?
and du you need to click or is it in a hover over mode? Any DEMO?

It's only one images per attribute?
Or if you have 3 images of a (e.g. Lock). You have to choose one of them?
