Custom message

Custom message

Hello,
I have set 'Do not redirect to cart after an order' in the Payment section of the configuration, which works fine.
However, I would like to know where and how I can add a hack in order to display a wide/colored "Product added to cart" message above the product which has just been selected.
Is there an area where I can display such a message? Above the Listproducts or above the product page?
Looks like there is one "system-message" div which I could use, maybe....
