URL SEO not working like my old site

URL not working like my old site

Sigh.
After having too much difficulties upgrading site from Joomla 3 to 4, I decided to build a new site locally.

I was able to install Joomshopping 5 and import relative content as desired and so far so good.

However, the Product URL is not like my existing site, instead, it shows like http://localhost/newpel/product/view/89/382 whereas on my current live site, it displays like: https://pelantigua.com/electrical/electrical-tapes/product/view/89/382.

So the new site seems to ignore the parent category of the product and im not sure why.

Not sure what step i may have missed.

My search here could didnt help as i must be one of the only few who have this problem.

I do have the product SEO Addon installed

using template from WarpTheme.com called "Factory Free Joomla Template" version 2.1.10
Joomla 4.4.0
Joomshopping 5.2.1

i made my home page to be categories list
i also have each menu linked to category

seems like i figured it out, or so i thought
I had to create a menu item for Every Single Category
I thought once i created the Main categories, it would work but i was wrong.
But i now have to create menu item for Sub-categories

I used the menu builder to populate the menu items per category but i am still having this issue where Product View seems wrong.
the category display is correct but

when i click on as Product or actual water tank type, it breaks the site
the url does not seem to connect to the corresponding category

So upon more playing around, I see that i Should Not have made my Joomshopping Categories/Lists as my Default Home Page, but rather create a separate Menu Item just for Joomshopping and call it whatever i wish, and not necessarily "shop".

All this time I had Joomshopping as my Default Home Page which was causing the issue i think

figured it all out now and everything is working just the way i want it
surely felt stupid at first but once i set my mind to solving it, i did

1. Need create item menu shop
2. need create all category / sucat .. as menu
3. Need set alias for each category
4. Need set alias for each product

Yes, some of these steps i actually missed in my old site but now sorted with the new site

You need to check overall SEO addon and Joomshopping menu category
