Is it possible to use Joomla Standard Captcha in Aska Question?

Hello Joomshopping team,
we do not want to use Google Recaptcha because of EU GDPR.
We installed another Captcha tool, that does not use cookies and we could set it to Joomla Standard Captcha in the Joomla configuration.
This tool works fine with a lot of our customer pages e.g. in several forms components.
So my question is: is it possible to use this Joomla Standard Captcha in the "Ask a question" plugin?
In the normal plugin configuration I find no possiblity to use the Joomla Standard Captcha. Maybe you have a workaround?
