Migration Jommla 3 to Joomla 4

Migration Joomla 3 to Joomla 4

Hello,
we have to upgrade our joomla installation from version 3 to version 4 .
At the moment we are running Joomshopping in the
Version 4.18.9.
I've read through the forum here, but unfortunately haven't found an answer to my questions.

What is the best way to proceed for a migration?

1. BACKUP.
Copy your website to folder (new - example)
Copy your DB to new DB

2. use folder new for
- update Joomla
- update JoomShopping
- upldate module / plugin ...

If I understand correctly, I should use a copy of my current Joomla installation to migrate from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4 and then update Joomshopping and the associated modules and plugins.

The question arises, are the current Joomshopping version 4.18.9, which I am running under Joomla 3 and the associated modules and plugins, already compatible with Joomla 4, or will there be errors in the update procedure?

after Updating to Joomla 4 and Joomshopping 5.1.3
i get this message on step 5

shop/checkout/step5

0 Undefined constant "_JSHOP_ADD_INFO"

I have :
Page previewfinsih (step 5) Add on installed, but can´t find an update for this add on?!
