There is an addon "Gift for new customers", which, after confirming the registration of a new user, automatically sends the user a coupon. For this addon to work, the "Coupons extrafields" addon must also be installed. But the problem is that in the "Gift for new customers" addon it is not possible to send the same coupon to all new users - instead, different coupons are sent to each new user, and the problem is that this addon has very poor settings: now the addon has fields only: Minimum order, Categories, Manufacturer ID, Vendor ID. And since this addon interacts directly with the "Coupons extrafields" addon, it would be logical if the "Gift for new customers" addon had all the fields that are in the "Coupons extrafields" addon, and not just those that are in this addon now. Because of this problem, it is not possible to flexibly adjust the coupon parameters in the "Gift for new customers" addon, which is automatically sent to a new user, and the discount on this coupon applies to a larger assortment than the administrator of the online store can allow. This is a critical issue that requires a new version of the "Gift for new customers" addon, which would synchronize with all (or almost all) fields and options that are in the "Coupons extrafields" addon. If Webdesigner responds to this post and creates an updated version of the addon "Gift for new customers", then the problem will be solved. I am sure that everyone who uses these addons is aware of this problem. Or, alternatively, one could add special options to the "Coupons extrafields" addon for automatic one-time sending of a certain created coupon with certain settings to new users / user groups immediately after registration is confirmed. Perhaps this is easier to implement. We hope for understanding and responsiveness Webdesigner. |
