Double Orders going through when using PayPal

I'm starting to see double orders being posted when Customers are using paypal. They are getting an error message from paypal so they are returned the the website and resubmit the order and it goes through the second time.

This has just started to happen in the last week or so.

Joomshopping is creating a new order number so paypal sees it as a new order.

Is there anything I can do to help ,prevent this?

What do you mean by add on invoice? I have the duplicate invoice plugin installed. Should I remove this until PayPal sort the issue out?

I have noticed myself that I get errors from PayPal stating that my payment never went through?

I get fees from Paypal that I have to absorb.

I have the std paypal - been using it for 4+ years now with no issues.

Not interested in upgrading as it was working fine until a few weeks ago.

Are there any settings in Joomshopping that could affect this?

I see there is a way to save info payment to log file- would this help try and figure out what is going on?

Also, will any of the 4 options on the paypal config page help?

I have the prevent double orders plugin - could this be forcing the system to create a new order number?
