PayPal systemfailure

Hi,
the paypal-payment on my domain does not work anymore. No changes of the configuration were done.
After switching to paypal (checkout/step6) the following failure appears:

Leider ist ein Systemfehler aufgetreten. Versuchen Sie es später noch einmal.

I'm quite shure that the problem is not on the paypal side.
What can I do to find the reason for this issue?
