Problem updating products

Hi,
I have successfully imported thousands of products using Universal Import (ADD) csv, comma delineated.
I am now trying to UPDATE some products (using Product Code (ean) as reference).
I get error: Select the correct separatorProduct data: Array ( )
I have used comma delimiter and have also tried semi-colon when UPDATING but with no success.
I also notice that instead of updating the product it is creating a NEW product.
Where am I going wrong?

Universal CSV Import. Also have Universal CSV Export.
I don't know the order number - it was purchased through Color Alliance.
As mentioned in previous message, adding products works perfectly.

I can send login details in private if that helps.

Have attached sample csv and screenshot options.
I need to update using the product code.
Sample csv field is "details-Product Code". have also tried "ean". At this stage only updating "description", but later will need to update prices.
Have tried turning on/off various options in Settings with no success.

Not sure what settings I need to apply

I tried this - still same result.
I also tried using the ID but same result.
Error message is the same for both methods:

Select the correct separatorProduct data: Array ( )

It also creates a new product no matter what configuration I use.
