[Free Module] Boost your JoomShopping workflow with Quick Icon

Looking for a faster way to manage JoomShopping?
This free module adds quick access icons for JoomShopping directly to your Joomla administrator dashboard, making everyday tasks easier and more efficient.

Introduction
It has always been surprising that since the creation of the JoomShopping component, no dedicated module was ever developed for the Joomla administrator dashboard. I decided to address this gap and create such a module. I would be glad if the JoomShopping developers appreciate it and include it in the default installation package.

About the Module
JoomShopping Quick Icon is built following the example of Joomla’s standard Quick Icon module and is designed to provide fast access to the main sections of the JoomShopping component directly from the administrator control panel.
It supports Joomla 4, 5, and 6, offering flexible parameters for customizing icons: displaying item counts, creating new entries, and checking JoomShopping updates with version information.

After installation, the module will be immediately published and ready to use.

Update! New version 2.0.1

This release introduces a new feature: the ability to select and display icons of installed extensions (addons) that have their own menu entry inside the administrative section `JoomShopping / Options`.
Now, if an addon provides a menu item, its icon can be shown directly in the Quick Icons module on the Joomla control panel, alongside the standard JoomShopping sections. This makes navigation faster and more intuitive, especially for frequently used addons.

Update! New version 2.0.2

Fixed a bug with detecting the new JoomShopping version in Joomla 6.
Due to the use of the outdated "HttpInterface" library, the new version was not recognized.
Switching to "HttpFactory" resolved the issue.

Thanks for pointing that out! If I understood you correctly, you were looking for a way to add quick icons for your JoomShopping extensions.
For this request, I have updated the module to version 2.0.1. In this release, you can now select and display icons of installed JoomShopping addons — but only if they provide their own menu entry in the administrative section `JoomShopping / Options`. Please feel free to download the new version from the first post in this thread.

If, however, you meant a completely custom solution (where you could define your own title, icon and link independently of JoomShopping), please let me know in your reply. I will consider adding such functionality in a future update.
