To whom it may concern:
When a buyer choose a payment option and the result is unsuccessful and order is in pending status after that, supposing after a spell of time the buyer returns and would like to follow up the created order with the same payment option or a new payment option to change the order status by payment on line from pending to paid. What the best way could be?

paid not ok -> checkout step 5 ->

And a record for table orders and order_item if the payment is accomplished,
and no records if the buyer retuns back to step 5 , true?

Great, the third case: not finished orders
A buyer creates a record of this type and suppose after a spell of time the buyer wants to complete the same order rather than restarting a new one. Is it possible?

I thought so, in user login page there is a link that directs the buyer to the list of orders and in that page a link to a page that shows an order in details, what if through a layout override a link would be added there to direct the buyer to the rest of an unfinished order, what is your idea about it? ofcourse I believe it is not necessary at all, it just stepped in my mind and I am asking
