MP4 not playing sound

MP4 not playing sound

I am using JShopping and have an odd problem with a product video.

In Chrome the video and sound plays.
In Firefox it shows the video but no sound.
In Opera it shows the video but no sound.
In Edge I get invalid source.

Do I have a codec problem? What is the cause of these different symptoms?

I configured the shop
-> Configuration / image
Video HTML5: is ticked
Video HTML5 type: video/mp4

Try use default (original) templte joomshopping.

Hallo Cedric,

das ist ein generelles Problem mit den Joomla Templates welches für JoomShopping angepasst wurden. Hier versäumen sehr oft die Entwickler dieser Templates an die aktuelle JoomShopping Version anzupassen.

Wichtig, mann muss immer nach einem, noch besser vor einem Update die Template Dateien vergleichen und die Änderungen nachpflegen.

Ich nutze dafür das Programm "aborange Searcher" damit ist man auch als ungeübter User schnell am Ziel.

Ich habe alle overrides des jshopping im template renamed und Audio spielt auch dann nicht ab.

Google Chrome Audio ja
alle anderen Browser nein.

Was muss ich machen.
